ABOUT ME

I grew up in Soviet Russia, and moved to the US with my father in 1991. I love traveling and meeting new people; and learning and living, especially different perspectives and experiences.

I am a 2nd year PhD student at University of Vermont, studying ecological economics, decolonization, and degrowth.

Couchsurfed from the west coast to the east coast of United States in the summer 2007 ~ it was an amazing experience

Music ~ hip hop is my longest musical love, and I have evolved to like all genres of music

Some favorite movies: The Game, Inception, The Cube, Orlando, Dangerous Beauty, and many others. I like mind/reality bending/questioning themes, and philosophical themes, and well-written comedies. I enjoy a good tear jerker once in a while too

I fancy myself an artist, so I love all types of art, including theater and performance of course!
