ABOUT ME

Born in the holy city of Amritsar (Yes thats where the world famous "Golden Temple" is :D ), I lived in India for many years. I have always had a scientific bend of mind which lead me to pursue first degree and later a master's in engineering. I have participated at "Formula Student, UK" in 2007 and raced on the famed 'Silverstone racing track'.

I like to play table tennis, listing to music and experiencing different cultures first hand. Being a tech savvy guy, I love collecting the latest and unique gadgets!!

I have travelled to many interesting placed in India, taking my bike out and go cruising on the mountainous highways along the western Ghats in India. My most favourite holiday destination in India would be Goa which I have visited three times with my friends.

Nowadays, I work as Product Development Engineer for a small company in the power generation sector. I have been in the UK for 3 years, and believe that there are many sides of this amazing country that I would still like to explore.

I am new to the world of couchsurfing. I was suggested this site by a couple of my friends and I look forward to experiencing what others have to offer and sharing my own experiences. To the Journey !!!

Interests

I am a movie freak and enjoy a watching a good movie irrespective of the genre. My favourites would be action movies followed (well not so closely) by romcoms.

I also like to go hiking on sunny days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On one of my biking trips, I was awestruck by the simplicity and beauty of nature bathed in monsoon rains. The green of the trees, the sound of the waterfalls, the sweet sounds of the birds moved me into a different dimension all together.
