I am quite but an intense person. Have lived in Chennai or nearby the whole of my life. Recent years have involved travel to far flung places & I love every bit of it. I travel for business, & my request is always for a coffee or taking me around the city.

Have not hosted anyone yet, but try to contact CSers wherever I go. Have met a few of them over coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very pleasant indeed. Useful in understanding the differences in cultures.

Interests

- I like traveling, but the city side does not excite me anymore. Prefer going away from the crowd like an island or a mountain if I have to spend a weekend outside India
- If within city, I prefer travel by public transport to do "as the locals do". This gives a better exposure to local people & their life than anything else
- I love long drive, but have never had the opportunity to drive outside my country. Eagerly waiting for an opportunity
- Art & literature are not my cup of tea
- Interested in history/sociology/economics. Like to discuss the local culture, people wherever I travel

I like biking & have biked in some remote mountains a number of times. Like long walks too.
