Hello! My name is Nirvana, I am originally from Nepal, and was living in Australia for 8 years.

I have been travelling for the past year around Europe and Morocco.

I love to learn about new cultures, and hear people's stories. I am a fun-loving passionate and inquisitive woman who wants to experience everything that life has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning on travelling for two years, maybe more if finances allow and I have heard so many good things about Couchsurfing. In past travels, I have mainly stuck to the tourist route and always stayed in hostels or hotels but my aim now is to see cities from the perspective of locals.

I want to see what locals love about their city, to learn from them the history and hidden secrets, and to make friends all over the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went trekking for 15 days in the Everest Region in Nepal, almost made it to Everest Base Camp, ate yak steak, and got stranded in a tiny village for three days.

I am a qualified social worker, with lots of experience working with young people, running groups and in facilitation.

I am passionate about community development and creative pursuits. I am very interested in learning about local projects, helping create local projects, and contributing my skills to the local community.
