CURRENT MISSION

I am currently living in Queretaro, Mexico for a semester study abroad! I plan on doing some trips around the country and then to Guatemala and Cuba :) My current mission is to meet new people and immerse myself in Mexico as much as possible.
I grew up in the leafy paradise of Maleny, on the sunshine coast hinterland climbing trees, picking flowers and romping around. I love plants, gardening, art, bike riding, music and a good adventure :) But most of all I love sitting around drinking tea with good company and a good conversation

I have travelled around Central America since I was a baby with my mum.
2013 I travelled around Europe and volunteered in Kenya.
2015 I explored Vietnam, Cambodia and China for a few months
I am currently studying art history, politcs and anthropology

PHILOSOPHY

Surround yourself with people who make you happy, who challenge you, and who help you learn and grow.

Hate is a dirty word, everyone is coming from somewhere, try to understand where that is, maybe you will both learn something.

I love love love, Thelma and Louise, Amelia, Blue is the warmest colour, Matilda, Benny and June, O brother where art thou and anything horror.
I love Cuban Music, Amy Winehouse, Hiatus Kaitote, Bonobo, The Cat Empire, The Doors, Michael Franti and Spearhead and anything else groovy! Bon Iver and Patrick Watson make my heart feel good.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was in high school I used to down 10 plates of food at Sizzler all you can eat every time. I think that's pretty impressive....
Also i once climbed a snowy mountain in China during a cold snap in really cheap sneakers which literally froze solid.

Now in my 4th year of sutdying anthropology, art history and politics, i could talk all day about australian art history and politics. I consider myself a really passionate person and love nothing more than a good conversation, especially when i meet people with different passions, ideas and opinions than my own! I love dicscussing art, culture and making food :)
I'd be more than happy to cook you a meal and share some Australian music with you :)
