CURRENT MISSION
To travel around the world, see as much as possible
ABOUT ME
Born in Los Angeles in 1981, I spent a decade (including college) in Northern California working for the Headquarters of Gap Inc. in supply chain management. Decided to leave corporate life to work for the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Africa, India and the Caribbean.
Accepted into a mid-career MPA program at Harvard beginning July 2011.
PHILOSOPHY
Be respectful, have some impact, learn as much as possible and enjoy life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I moved back to the US, I was couch-surfing on relative's couches, but I had the chance to stay at my old roommate's apt in San Francsico, Ca and host a couch-surfer from Kazakhstan.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In addition to formal couch surfing through this project I have often hosted ppl at my apts. From 2005-2007 (the last time I actually had an apt!) my roommates and I hosted 5 couch-surfers who were friends of friends for different lengths of time form a couple days to several months.
Interests
Hosting the guest from Kasakhstan was really fun, I was able to show her around, help her navigate the public transport system, and we had a great time chatting and learning about each other's cultures. I Hope I have a chance to meet many fascinating ppl through the CS project.

Music, Movies, and Books
enjoy adventure/comedy/sci fi - not a fan of horror. Super sad movies can be well made and some of my favorites, but I rarely choose to watch them over other genres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rafted class 5 rapids on the Nile River in Uganda
