ABOUT ME

Hey, I am Anita! I don't know how to best describe me... I am an open person and like to meet new people from all over the world. But I am also a little bit shy sometimes.
I'm interested in getting to know other cultures and listen to stories. In my free time I like to meet my friends or my boyfriend, I do Yoga sometimes and I love music and dancing (I'm not good at dancing but I just like to dance to good music).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently surfed a couch in Genoa, it was very nice. Maybe in the future I will start hosting as well, but currently I'm a little bit busy in university and at work. My old flatmate used to be very active in couchsurfing, and he always made good experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've once wanted to find a couchsurfing opportunity for Barcelona but somehow it didn't work out because we didn't have much time but then we could stay at the place of friends from friends from friends, which was really nice.
I recently surfed a couch in Genoa, it was very nice.

Interests

As mentioned in my personal description I love music. I like going dancing to electronic music, or balkan beats or world music or sometimes also independent or rock music. In my freetime I also listen to classical music sometimes, it's good to calm down.
In summer I love going to the lakes in Berlin and Brandenbourg, it's great. I also enjoy Yoga.

Last but not least I love travelling and learning new languages. Currently I am studying a little bit of Italian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know, there are amazing things happening every day.
One moment that was really amazing was when I was about to land in Okinawa, Japan. The view was so beautiful with the many small islands, the beautiful sea and yes it was just amazing.
Oh and on my flight back from Japan to Helsinki I also had a great view and could see all the mountains in Honshu, including the Fujisan. That was really amazing.
