Hey! I’m Nitesh, 24, originally from Malaysia but currently living in South America. I’m a pioneer for the Bahá’í Faith, working with communities to support spiritual education that helps people bring positive change to themselves and their surroundings—guided by the Bahá’í Writings.

I first heard about Couchsurfing through a friend and thought it was such a cool way to meet people and share different experiences. I’d say my travel style is pretty balanced—chill when needed, spontaneous when the opportunity arises, and always open to a bit of adventure. So far, I’ve been to Thailand, India, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana. I’m planning to explore more of the Caribbean soon, and Japan is my dream destination!

My friends would probably say I’m fun to be around. I’m super into sports—especially football and volleyball—and I love trying different kinds of food. If it tastes good, I’m all in. I’m also obsessed with the ocean and beaches, and I’m planning to get my diving license soon!

I really value meaningful conversations. I think there’s always something new to learn from someone else’s perspective. I’m definitely tidy and respectful as a guest, and a fun fact about me: I have to shower before bed—no exceptions hahaha.

I speak English, Mandarin, and Malay fluently, and I’m currently learning Japanese and Spanish. I genuinely appreciate hosts who are kind, respectful, and keep their space relatively clean—I try to do the same wherever I go. I don’t mind helping out at all, especially if it involves food or cooking together!
