Hello, I'm a 22 yo french travelling to Canada at the end of october for the first time because i'm gonna work 1 week in Québec. I took this opportunity to visit Montreal (4 days) and Toronto (4 days) right after and i'm looking for a kind soul that would let me stay at their place and maybe hang out with if we click :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing from my german teacher back in middle school and it always intrigued me but i never had the courage to try it. Now i'm travelling in Canada (trying to limit my budget since i just got a new job after graduation) and need a place to stay so it's the perfect time to finally try it !

Interests

When i visit a new city i like to go to the touristic places but what i enjoy most is discovering secret places, walk around leisurily and making fun encounters. I like museums, local supermarkets (let's do some grocery shopping together, i enjoy it !!), trying the local specialties (i have to try the canadian queue de castor and the poutine), enjoy night vibes in the city. I also love boardgames and pen-and-paper roleplaying games.
I started practicing kickboxing in may and before that i did taekwondo for 2 years and I really really enjoy both.
I started learning the guitar on my own in may so if you play the guitar i'd be more than happy to hear you play and maybe learn a few chords from you. I also learnt ukulele and piano on my own and took violin lesson when i was a kid.
I love cats and pets in general, i can walk your dog too !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently learning spanish and thai (i also learnt german, japanese and esperanto but forgot most of it)
I love to share cooking and baking recipee, let's learn from each other ! I prefer not to cook meat.
I also love discovering all kind of crafty/artsy stuff (sketching, crocheting, painting, sewing, ...). I really wanna try ceramic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm the calm type, clean and can cook ! Though i wanna discover culinary specialities from Montreal so i'll probably eat outside whenever i can.
I'm very respectful and can stay at your place just to sleep and be very discreet or can be part of your home and hang out with you, I adapt.
Can bring a french specialty (I live in Bordeaux the city of wine and cannelés, a small pastry).
