Overview
About Me
I would be happy to host guests and give some hospitality back, which I experienced doing CS in the US, Germany and Italy. I'm also happy to just show you some awesome places in and around Gothenburg which you definetely won't find in a touristic guide.
BUT PLEASE: I don't accept unpersonal copy-paste-requests (generic requests which you can send to everybody) or requests which show that you are only looking for a free place to stay. That's not why I am here and I am not a free hostel! If you think that couchsurfing is basically AirBnB for free, save our time and don't send me a message. If you do so anyways, don't be surprised about my answer.
Instead of, show me that you've read my profile and tell me why you want to stay specifically with me. Since I will take my time to make your stay as nice as possible, I can expect that you invest 5 minutes to read my profile and check out if my conditions here will fit you. (more about my request expectations are under "my home"). Your chance to stay with me is much higher if I see that you understood the community idea of CS and hosted already people or "paid back" in some other way to the community. (That doesn't mean that I decline directly people without references!).
You wonder why it is hard to find a couch? Have you ever hosted somebody back home?

And southern Kungsleden (kings trail) from Storlien to Sälen; 360 km 😍

2023 (winter) snow shoe hiking 80 km through jämtlandsfjällen surounded by reindeer and surviving a massive snow storm.
2024 (winter) snow shoe hiking 100 km through Vindelfjällen.

Storys about long distance hiking trips in Germany and the USA, my life in GER, SWE or the USA, couchsurfing stories, funny stories from my life...or in generel a nice time.
Friends say it's often an unexpected adventure to join me for something. That's maybe a bit too much but I can promise it never gets boring with me and I like weird and uncommon ideas and activities.
In general it depends what you expect from your time here...
