ABOUT ME

Husband (wife's profile: L_V_A) and father of two little travellers born in 2015 and 2017. I'm loaded with a ready smile and wide horizons, and I want everybody to feel comfortable around me. I've lived abroad for half of my life so I'm not a great tour guide in Finland, but I'll do my best. When traveling, I like to live like the locals and pick up as much of the local language(s) as possible.

My couch-surfing experience has been exclusively extraordinary. It has allowed me to cross paths with people I would probably never have met under other circumstances, and those people have really shaped me and my life. I hope to contribute to others' travels like my hosts did to mine.

Traveled with two kids aged 1 and 3 for 7 months while on parental leave.

I like to break cultural stereotypes. Examples: not all white people wear sunglasses when it's not sunny, not all white people are arrogant, not all white people are rich, not all Finnish people are emotionless (well...).

I like expanding people's horizons while making them appreciate their own virtues and qualities. Knowledge is the best cure for intolerance and prejudice.
