Hello! My name is Nivikkana, I'm 30 years old from Greenland. I am trained social worker and currently living in Denmark for +8 months while studying Master's degree in Social work. I am passionate about making a difference in the social field, but I also want to explore the world, meet new people and learn through experience.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to meet local people, learn about different cultures, and experience daily life in new places, not just as a tourist, but as a guest. I believe that the best way to understand a place is through the people who live there. I enjoy good conversations, cultural exchange, and seeing the world through others’ eyes. I’m curious, respectful and open to learning something new from everyone I meet.

I enjoy reading books that make me reflect on life and society.
Music is a big part of my daily life. I listen to many genres depending on my mood- from chill acoustic sounds to strong beats or emotional vocals.
When it comes to movies, I enjoy dramas, documentaries and stories based on real life.

One amazing thing I’ve done is moving from Greenland to Denmark to study for my Master’s degree in Social Work. It was a big step outside my comfort zone- new country, new language environment, new challenges. But it has helped me grow a lot as a person and connect with people from many different cultures.
