Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I realized that how much I enjoy a trip depends as much on the destination than on the people I meet. The connections I make on a trip are a really important part of travelling, they’re what make a place special to me.
When I go somewhere, I want to get a feel of what living in that place is like, and CouchSurfing is a great opportunity to get a glimpse at someone's life in an other part of the world.
I also realized last summer (while hosting a German guy I met in Spain), that I really enjoy showing around my city and sharing my love for it, my favorite spots and little pleasures that I sometimes forget about until someone visits... It's also a chance to rediscover my city with every visitor :)
