To learn and to grow and to gain confidence and independence.
I consider myself an all-around nice person who likes meeting new people. I love laughing loudly and making other people laugh by being silly and endearingly neurotic.
I am very open-minded. I can be very logical but I also like to seeing the world in shades of gray. I like meeting new people, especially people who are similarly friendly and open-minded. I'm terrible with directions and navigating.
Be kind to people and be true to yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During a break from college, I backpacked throughout Europe, being a guest to some wonderful hosts.
When I moved to Boston, I met many good friends through CSing meetups and parties and my house hosted some surfers.
I hope to get involved in CSing somehow in Lawrence KS where I will be attending grad school.
I've now stayed with people in:
Glasgow (Laura and Alex)
Edinburgh (Kim and Ivan)
Bath, England (Sian)
Lausanne, Switzerland (my lovely friend Angela)
Naples (Virgi and Sato)
Catania (Laura, Ermano, Sebastiano, and Gessica)
Aix en Provance (my lovely friend Jane)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking around Europe alone was a pretty cool thing to do. Female empowerment baby!
During my trip I went to a very small town in Sicily to see where my Great Grandparents came from and to maybe meet distant family. This town was so small and untouched by tourism it had no bus to get from the train station to the town 5 km's away (I hitch hiked to the town). I found one maybe relative with the same last name as my great grandfather but he didn't know of the family members I could describe. But regardless, I managed to walk around a very rustic and authentic Sicilian town.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can sing pretty well and I can share my experiences with working with mentally ill kids and adults with cancer.
