Hi! I'm Nikunj. Grew up in India with a family who loves traveling. Traveled extensively across India. Moved to the US in 2008 to do my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign. It's located two hours south of Chicago. Finished my undergraduate degree in 2012 and decided to take 3 months off before I started work. Spent a month in the US, a month in Greece, a week in Jordan, a month in India and a day in Egypt before heading back. Other countries I have traveled to: France, Switzerland, Spain, Costa Rica, Turkey, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark.

I currently live in San Francisco working for a small startup. I like to travel whenever I get a chance and currently trying to do at least 2-3 new countries a year :) Unfortunately I can't host you guys, but happy to show you around SF if you want.

I love exploring new cities with locals and showing San Francisco to other CouchSurfers. I feel it's such a better experience living and hanging out with locals and getting to learn so much more about that city. I also hate doing touristic things and love to explore the inner parts of cities that tourists hardly get to see :)
