Hola! I'm a third year medical student from Philadelphia, and I just moved to Lima for the year! Hmm...I am a big optimist- I am someone who loves to see the best in people and to find joy in all the little things in life. I love meeting new people and finding new communties wherever I move, and understanding what people are passionate about.

I'm very excited to meet new people in this new and awesome city :) I'm new to couch surfing but was amazed by first experience staying with a host when I landed in Lima. I love the mentality and openness of couchsurfing- its a great way to maintain faith in humanity.

It's always so hard to pick favorites. Music-wise I generally love indie and acoustic bands, but am hoping to explore more of the music culture here (especially the Afro-Peruano bands). In terms of movies, Clockwork Orange has always stuck with me. I love reading, but my newest favorite books include a A Fine Balance and The Savage Detectives, but my all time favorite old book is the Phantom Tollbooth

Bungee jumping over the Nile- still feel my heart in my mouth when I think about jumping off that tiny tower!
