I am an organic gardener and lover of the outdoors. I love to travel and try to get away and experience something new about once a month. I am a voracious reader, and I am a willing learner. I never want to meet the person that already knows everything...they'll ruin it for the rest of us if they tell!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in southwest Ohio. It's not terribly exciting here, but it is an hour away from Cincinnati and Columbus and there is so much to do in either city. Yellow Springs is very close by, it's an old hippie town that can be seriously enjoyable. I used to own an Organic Grocery there. There is a street fair in Yellow Springs the second weekend of June and another the second weekend of October that's definitely worth a look around, and a really good blues/ regaee festival in the summer. There are some really great places to hike during the day and observe the universe by night...I love exposing good people to good things here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Today is my first day officially couchsurfing, but I have been doing the equivalant for years on my own. Proof that not all who wander are lost, and an open mind and pure spirit can produce fantastic results

Interessen

I love to live. I like interacting with people and experiencing new things. I love to read, learn and travel. I would rather be outside than indoors. I'm not big on watching television but I do have one.

I enjoy my day job, I teach chemistry at a small college. It's very rewarding to help another person achieve their goal. On Friday nights, I sometimes bartend at a friend's club in a nearby city and it's stupid fun! So, if you need help in science or just want to have a cocktail and a splendid time, come visit
