ABOUT ME

Grew up all over the US. Studied for a year in Beijing, China (during uni), and am now living in Paris, France-dedicated to staying in Europe somehow! I love traveling, and all the experiences I've had with traveling and meeting other travelers have been amazing, which is why couch surfing is such a brilliant concept.
I'm living in Paris (for now) as an au pair. I've been a vegetarian for around 6 years. My number one hobby is sewing-clothes mainly, dresses, purses, anything. Photography is another passion of mine, and someday I'll be able to afford a real camera! I spend almost every single day walking around the city, wandering, exploring new streets and hidden corners, finding a park or square to sit and read or write letters, wherever the wind takes me. I walk. A lot :) I'd be happy to walk around with someone visiting the city! I know my way around! I also have a hobby of finding festivals, free galleries, free music, installations to go to :) Paris is filled with them! You will never be bored here.

PHILOSOPHY

What a deep question for a couchsurfing site. My personal philosophy? I'm buddhist, so I shouldn't need to go much into that. I believe in kindness, compassion, and patience. Everyone has their life and their stories and their experiences that others can't begin to understand or know, their is always a reason for the way people act, however far back it may go 'We live as we dream, alone'. Anger doesn't get you anywhere in life. Everyone acts differently in difficult circumstances. I won't do anything that makes me miserable, life is too short, there is too much out there that could make you happy and at peace instead.
There is a bigger world out there, I want to see it all, I want to known it all, I want to absorb it all. There is more to traveling than landmarks.

If I ever have a couch or any extra space I would offer is to couchsurfing in a millisecond!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first couchsurfing experience in Nov 2010 when a friend and I stayed with someone for a night in Strasbourg. It was a wonderful, wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to more couchsurfing in the future and hosting people whenever it is possible! Fantastic way to see a city and meet people!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Lived in China. Everything there was amazing. Traveling on the silk road was a wonderful experience, loved going to the monasteries and seeing the sun rise over the Gobi desert
