Hi There, i'm Néna, 33 y.o, freelance graphic designer and illustrator in Montréal since 2018. Before that i lived in Lyon for 8 years, but i grew up near Toulouse.

I spend my free time drawing and painting, playing on The Elder Scrolls Online, walking and discovering Montréal, which is much bigger than i thought. And of course, hanging out or chilling with my friends...
I also have an obsession for ancient things, which have an history like old books, old watches, traditional costumes...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because i think this is a beautiful way to travel. I have the feeling that the more we evolve in technologies, the more we become lonely and isolated. I think CS is a way to share something with people from around the world, to open our minds and learn from other people. It just demands basic notions such as respect and politeness, and of course a bit of socialization, and thats really a minimum when you think people just let you come in into their home, the most private space they have.
We grow up with the people we meet, and what a good way to meet people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first travel outside Europ was in Ecuador, 3 years ago, to visit the brother of my boyfriend. The whole trip was an amazing experience : people, food, bus travel, colors, market, beauty. This country is great and people are wonderful.
I felt half excited half in danger with the bus drivers and the mudflows which used to happen on the roads, i was mesmerized by the animals and the landscapes (in Ecuador you have the pacific coast (beautiful beaches) - The Andes mountains (completely different landscape but still amazing), and the Amazonian forest where i offered a blood feast to the insects :D.
The whole trip was an adventure and i'll never forget it.
