About Me

Having grown up as a mixed child from two totally different cultures (Switzerland & Togo) I was already used to diversity. From my parents, who each made sure to give me a part of their culture, I learned curiosity and openness to new things.
I just finished my first solo trip through Brazil at 20 years old and it definitely won't be my last adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel my priority is learning about the social culture rather than seeing beautiful places (which obviously is also awesome). In my opinion the best way to immerse into a culture is interacting with locals.

I still live with my parents, so unfortunately I can't host yet. But I would love to do so some day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Salvador I took part in a Afro-Brazilian dance class. I had been following the dance teacher for some time before coming to Brazil. When I finally took that class, I was overwhelmed by emotions. Never have I seen so many people coming together to just enjoy what their bodies are capable of accompanied by rooted music and strong rhythms. And no one was there to judge!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak 5 languages which I am happy to share and exchange. With these languages come different experiences and cultures. The most important thing I bring is curiosity and eagerness to learn and discover new things!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to contribute to the household during my stay. I especially love to cook and would love to cook you some dishes from my countries (Switzerland and Togo), or just from my personal experimental repertoire. First and foremost I hope my stay can be a good exchange of interesting conversations, funny stories and unique skills.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Togo, United States
