About Me

I’ve grown up in Ohio for just about my entire life, and only recently have I begun to see more of the world. When I started learning German in seventh grade, I realized how much more of the world I wanted to see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be completely honest, a good friend recommended I make an account. He had told me about his experiences with this app, and even before her personally recommended I make an account, I was considering making one. The more he talks about his wonderful and diverse experiences, the more excited I am to participate!

Music, Movies, and Books

I just finished reading Steven King’s IT, and while it was terrifying, I loved it. My other favorite books include Catcher in the Rye, Looking for Alaska, The Book Thief, and An Abundance of Katherines. I loved the movies Arrival, Spirited Away, and Avatar. As far as music goes, my taste encompasses pieces from 21 Pilots to just about anything from the German rapper Cro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During high school, I played a flute solo with my school’s orchestra at Carnegie Hall.

What I Can Share with Hosts

While I’m happy to share whatever midwestern American culture one might be interested in, I’d also love to share my language skills, stories, and good conversation with hosts.

Countries I’ve Visited
