About Me
Hey, I’m Noah 👋
I was born in Thunder Bay but grew up under the big skies of Edmonton. I studied at UBC and have since lived in Montreal, Kelowna, and a few other places across Canada. Right now, I’m training to be a psychologist, working on my MSc in Forensic Psychology, and always keen to learn from new people and experiences.
I love good conversation over coffee, exploring cities on foot, and finding those tucked-away local spots that make a place feel alive. Easygoing, respectful, and a bit of a wanderer at heart – always happy to share stories and a laugh with fellow travelers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is about people, not just places. Hotels don’t offer real connection, but a shared meal, a late-night chat, or even a walk around your neighbourhood can make a city come alive. I’ve been lucky to meet generous strangers in my travels, and I’d love to keep that spirit going—learning, sharing, and trading stories with kind folks wherever I go.
Music, Movies, and Books
The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky, The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway, The Fall by Camus, Soner by John Williams. I have a ton of books that you can borrow while you stay.
My music taste is pretty varied, I like electronic music to go out with, and I have always loved hip hop, but most of the time I listen to folk acoustic music.
If I am honest, I am a bit of a movie snob, I have a hard time with a lot of the mainstream movies. But I am sucker for a good spy film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
I am a native of Edmonton, so I can recommend the best restaurants, places to go out, places to go for walks. I know and love Edmonton, I am a very good guide for this city. I have also been to 17 states and 7 provinces, so I know the local region pretty well for recommendations. I am a good cook and could potentially cook for you.
You are also more than welcome to leave my place with a book for your travels.
