Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Have a great time on my semester abroad in Beijing! Also, write a lot and try to become fluent in Mandarin
ABOUT ME
I'm calm and collected, yet outgoing and ready for anything. When I'm presented with an opportunity of any kind, I take pride in rising to the challenge. I've got a great sense of humor, and though I enjoy going on adventures, I find that having a good conversation is more rewarding than anything.
PHILOSOPHY
Curiosity is more important that intelligence but less important than love, and wisdom is what we learn from the mistakes we make.
Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff

Interests
I really enjoy sports and competition. I play rugby at my university in the USA, and have played American football, lacrosse, and I wrestled. I am a bit of a music buff, I love going wild at concerts or just kicking back and listening to a new album. I am a bit of an intellectual, I watch a lot of movies, read, and sometimes write and draw.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The year after I graduated high school I took a gap year and lived in Shanghai with a host family. During the time I spent in China I did a lot of traveling, and saw some amazing sights like Everest base camp, Chinese New Year in Shanghai, the Hong Kong skyline, and the Potala Palace in Lhasa. But to be honest, the people I met while I was abroad were what made that year the most amazing experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd say that what I have to share isn't always tangible- I have better stories than most, and I can tell a story or a joke better than anyone.
I love having long, in-depth conversations. My friends often come to me to ask for advice, which I attribute to my calm demeanor and my ability to work with people to solve problems.
I'd like to learn how to cook, and I love learning little tips and tricks that make daily life easier.
Sports are a huge part of my life, so I'm pretty big on fitness and physical and mental health. Anybody looking to get in shape?
