Overview
About Me
I've worn many hats; teacher, forest firefighter, labor union organizer, intern for economists and social scientists, student journalist. For the last 9 years, I have been working and living in a rural intentional community (AKA commune) in Virginia with 100 other people where I managed the Tofu business and fixed some large equipment. I like rock climbing, hiking, bicycling, interesting conversations, reading, pond hockey, and ultimate frisbee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, some nice beer. I am not a great cook, but I am happy to clean up. I like tidying spaces, and maybe helping you get around to doing something that you have been procrastinating. I would like to hear you tell me about places in the world that you love; I can also tell you about some of my favorite places.
