Where to start?
For many many years it's been a huge ambition of mine to go travelling and see the world! After a split-second decision I decided to go and booked some plane tickets! I'm an easy to get along with dedicated individual who is keen to explore the world.
One of my main focuses is having a laugh and just genuinely trying to learn new things all around me. I've lived in Yorkshire all my life and am tired of being there and working the same job day-in and day-out so I needed a way to get out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard about Couchsurfing through a friend of mine who did it when he went to New York last summer and said it was amazing. He still keeps in regular contact with his hosts and is off back soon to see them all again. I didn't want to miss this opportunity and thought I would sign up for when I arrive in Sydney on the 13th of January.
I understand it may be difficult to accept a first time Couchsurfer without any references but I can send you a link to my Twitter and Facebook accounts to prove I am genuine.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music and movies are possibly my two favourite things and to begin what kind of music I like is almost impossible. I like traditional English indie music (bands such as Oasis, the Stone Roses, the Smiths, Arctic Monkeys) but also a wide range of psychedelic bands like Pink Floyd. My favourite band of all time is the Beatles and I am a HUGE John Lennon fan.
My favourite movie directors are probably Quentin Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick. My favourite film series of all time is Star Wars so if any hosts love Star Wars as much as I do then we will get along fine I'm sure!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to pinpoint an amazing thing I've done. At only eighteen I've still managed to see a quite large proportion of America with family and can say that San Francisco is my favourite city in the world and would one day love to return and explore it once again!
Teach, Learn, Share
Right now I am a line chef at a busy restaurant near where I live so I am able to cook regularly and well - happy to do it for a kind host! I am willing to learn about anything to do with Australians and the way people live Down Under!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am bright with a good sense of humour who can provide hosts with good stories and enthusiasm.
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Greece, Italy, Spain, United States
