ABOUT ME

I was brought up in upper middle class New Hampshire. A good comfortable life by all accounts. I'm in my junior year of college and as such am almost done "the things you need to do." College has been great for me I must admit and am indeed very greatful for the opportunities, but it gets old. I want to get a few lifetimes worth of experiance in before its all said and done, this seems like a good place to set that plan into motion.

PHILOSOPHY

I have little tolerance for not being in a good mood. I have the good fortune to exist and that should provide all the reason to be happy that I need.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think a building a solid network of like minded people is a force. A force that is far more powerful than the indivuiduals that make it up. I'm not sure how into this neat little web yet, but I'll find my place.

I don't have any experiance as of yet, but surely this is something that will change.

Interests

Politics as of late, I've become a junkie for it. Now thats its all over however, I'll have to settle for the less uplifting news of the world (hopefully it will get less depressing). My great outdoor love is hiking, but I also enjoy kayaking and fishing too. I've been dabbling in orienteering, but its hard to find good courses around here. I also just started doing puzzles with my sister, they're fun too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like books and movies that dont end on the last page or when the credits role. And I like music that makes me sleepy or dance.

Well, I'm in school learning to be an outdoor educator, I am beginning to get a grasp of the technical and philisophical aspects of that.
