I am a student who enjoys travelling, meeting people, and experiencing things from all walks of life.

ABOUT ME

I am very interested in traveling, experiencing new enviornments and cultures as well as getting to know people and their culture. I enjoy going to the movies, hanging out with friends, board games, as well as just about any sort of physical sport, provided I know how to play. While abroad in Germany it is one of my goals to travel Germany and Europe as much as I can but I am also very interested in meeting people and forming some sort of lasting correspondance, but if that is not what you are looking for I am totally fine just holding a simple conversation as well. I consider myself to be quite flexible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a very outgoing, fun-loving person. I like to jump right into things, even if I am not entirely sure how things will progress. I enjoy conversation, and try to be respectful of those around me. I try to respect their way of life and their culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed before in europe but I have spent the night in areas that I am not at all familiar with as part of various group trips i did while back in the states. I spent about a week living with a about a dozen people I never met while working to help clean up New Orleans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Paris, Amsterdam, London, Luxemburg, Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden, Munich, Chicago, Washington D.C., The Twin Cities in Minnesota, I have swam in the Great Lakes, I have also seen die Zugspitze.

Teach, Learn, Share

As an American I am able to explain and teach a lot with regards to American culture, stereotypes, government type, sports, how to apply for a job in the States. I am interested in learning about the German culture or any other culture for that matter, and learning about how to interact with others within that culture, without offending people.
