ABOUT ME

Traveling and meeting other people and cultures is my #1 passion in life. I've been to a fair bit of places in North and South America, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East but I am always eager to see more! I've recently found myself at a life crossroads where I have the money and time to do a good chunk of traveling and would like to do as much of this as I can while I'm still young.

I'm a huge history/politics/cinema/literature nerd and enjoy having intellectual conversations about these topics; preferably while drinking alcoholic beverages.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if there is a higher power, meaning to our existence, or a place we go after we die; but for whatever reason we are here so let’s try to do good to each other and make the most of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting travelers and showing them around my city and have been doing so in Toronto and London for years. I've used couchsurfing while traveling the U.S. a few years back and had a fantastic time! Be you a host or guest its an incredible cultural exchange and staying with a local lets you experience a city like you'd be unable to do otherwise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used it while backpacking in the United States 3 years ago. While I never had the chance to host in Toronto due to living at home, I've regularly met up with guests my friends hosted to show them my city when they we're busy wth work.

Music, Movies, and Books

Top 5 movies: Apocolypse Now, City of God, The Godfather, Waltz With Bashir, Ghoast in Shell.

Top 5 books: 1984, Catch-22, The Heart of Darkness, The Master and Margarita, To Kill a Mockingbird.

Music: Too many bands for a top 5. Mostly classic rock but I'll listen to all genres.

A flexible and respectful guest who is more than happy to follow and house rules. I'd love the chance to learn about your city and culture and share mine! Happy to hang out if you're free to but independent enough to occupy myself if you have work/life obligations.
