About Me

September 25:
I am solo traveling through the south of France (and possibly a bit of Spain) during September-October. I used to do a bit of couch surfing a few years ago and some of my best memories are sharing experiences with the amazing hosts I met. I also think it's a great way to truly visit a region and experience it as a local. So naturally I thought it would be a lovely way to spend some of my trip - meet new people and cultures, experience life in different places, practice languages and perhaps make some new friends :)

I'm an engineer by trade/education and love geeky stuff (of the math/sciences type). I'm fairly easy-going, and love all kinds of sports and ways to move your body, dancing, the outdoors, hiking, cycling, surfing, etc. But having a quiet night in, cooking, watching a movie or playing a board game is also fun! I speak English, Hebrew, Spanish and some French and would be more than happy to practice them with a host. I play a few instruments and love music in general, and I think it's a great way to connect with people.

Note:
These are dark and troubling times in my home country. I do not wish to go into politics here but let me be clear about one thing - I vehemently oppose the awful violent acts done by my government in Gaza. End the war now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It sounds like a great way to travel, meet people from different backgrounds, and experience new cultures.

Interests

I play piano and flute, used to play guitar, and just love good music in general (classic rock, funk, jazz, classical and much more). Into all sorts of sports and ways to move your body, from snowboarding to yoga, volleyball, basketball, dancing and more. I enjoy learning new things, and try to always be open to new experiences!
