Be curious, Be creative
When I was a kid I believed myself as not a typical Japanese,
after having traveled several countries, I realized my back ground that how i am a Japanese.
Generally we are free from religous restrictions ( Buddhism and Shinto .. but I grew up in Christian ), we feel no guilty, no hesitate to learn and import foreign cultures to adopt and localize into daily life.
In this way i am a typical Japanse, can't describe one by but I've learned lots on the road, -
In other words, we are open-minded, respect different cultures and religions,
This is why we are here.
We hesitate to host anybody from Aug to Sept,,
we temporary leave home for our holiday,
our daugters will return home for summer holiday,
Summer in Nagoya is worse period, terrible hot and sticky, you probably suffer and complain heats and wet.
Please text us before sending Couch request.
I believe human nature is fundamentally goodness.
World Peace may brought by knowing, understanding & respecting each others that how we are difference and how we are same.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When i solo traveled in Tanzania, stacked in rural village for 2 - 3 nights,
a Muslim family invited me for every meals.
It was my first acquaintance with Muslims then i could know they were really peaceful, polite, intelligent curious and respectful other cultures.
This past lucky meeting brought me to have my philosophy.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach Japanese cooking.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share our daily meal,
to avoid taking addictives and MSG - we don't like its artificial taste- reduce amount of salt,
we mostly cook without package food, and eat at home.
We'd like to share them by donation base, if you satisfied them, we appreciated you to donate fare cost of food stuff,
if you didn't satisfy them, you'd better manage to eat yourselves.
You can eat out and bring your own food, sorry we don't want CSers to use our kitchen without our sight, except micro wave oven to warm package food,
We host only who agree our conditions. When you place a Couch Request, please mention about it,
" No mention it No replay. "
This is our way to know the request as " Copy and Paste " or from " Free Loaders"
Sorry we are already tired to host those surfers.
