Be curious, Be creative
When I was a kid I believed myself as not a typical Japanese,
after having traveled several countries, I realized my back ground that how i am a Japanese.
Generally we Japanese are free from religions restrictions ( Buddhism and Shinto .. but I grew up in Christian ), we feel no guilty or no hesitate , rather be a curious to learn and import foreign cultures, adopt and localize to our daily life.
In this way I've learned lots on the road, - can't describe one by one -
I consider myself as a typical Japanese.
In other words, we ( with my wife ) are open-minded and respect different cultures, that why we are here on CouchSurfing.
I believe human nature is fundamentally goodness.
World Peace may brought by knowing, understanding & respecting each others that how we are difference and how we are same.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When i solo traveled in Tanzania, stacked in rural village for 2 - 3 nights,
a Muslim family invited me for every meals.
It was my first acquaintance with Muslims then i could know they were really peaceful, polite, intelligent curious and respectful other cultures.
This past lucky meeting brought me to have my philosophy.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach Japanese cooking.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We'd like to share the meal time with our guest(s),
For our health and budged,
to avoid to take addictive MSG - we don't like its artificial taste- reduce amount of salt,
we mostly cook without package food, and eat at home.
Since we get many host requests lately ( we host 10 or more nights / mouth average ) it hits our food budget.
If you understand our condition then satisfy the meals,
we'd like to ask to split the expense of ingredients to support our future Surfers.
( Don't worry we won't do the business with CSers. )
You can use bicycle.
