ABOUT ME

bonus point - i'm multilingual!
since so far english is probably the the globe's most dominant language i can speak i'm going to do this in english.
first of all - i guess by asking others about me you'll get to know much more than i can tell you...
but let's try. i think i'm a pretty open minded person concerning any aspect. i like getting to know new people because to me it's a way of understanding other points of view, other cultures and other ways of life. the same counts for traveling - i try to take pieces of foreign cultures with me in order to integrate them in my daily life - it doesn't always work out but is always inspiring. the world offers so much cultural difference - explore it, confront yourself with it, it's going to make you more tolerant and wise in the end.
further i think by willing and putting an effort in anything you'd like to do or accomplish, it becomes possible.
in cities, i generally prefer a bicycle over a car and like to be outside.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i try to do my best to make you feel comfortable at my place following: "My house is your house" - all is up to respect towards others.
i work during the week and leave often on weekends so your best bet is definitely during the week. i'm rather spontaneous so let's see what we can arrange.
since i think that you best visit a culture by it's people i won't be your tourist guide - you can do sightseeing on your own. but i can offer you company and maybe arrange gatherings with friends or show you my preferred spots in this city...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i hosted a lot of people from all over the world now. to me it's a way of traveling while staying home - by talking to my surfers i can learn a lot about their home countries.
when surfing a place it's magic when at the moment you enter the apartment you instantly feel at home. also by getting information from your host you quite often get to know a city in a more intimate way which i prefer.
