Matt is a Netflix streaming junkie and Kate went to Chapman for her screenwriting MFA. So, uh, yeah, movies are big in this house.

Kate: All I need in life I learned on M*A*S*H.
Matt: What so you can perform surgery or something? Now, Batman - he teaches life lessons.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've had people stay at our last apartment in Flagstaff, Arizona and Orange County, CA but haven't had enough time to host anyone in our new apartment yet. Now that Kate is out of school, we are able to open up our home and help out the Los Angeles traveler.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had surfers. We've love to couch surf up the West Coast sometime soon. We have stayed friends with people who have dropped by and surfed on our couch.

Movies, movies, movies! We are obsessed with movies and t.v. shows on dvd. We collect quite a bit of movies; anything from Jackie Chan, to cheesy horror flicks, to girly romantic comedies. Same goes for music, you will find techno, country, 80's music, alternative, bluegrass, and rock being popped into the CD player.

Kate has traveled through Europe with her sister going from Hostel to Hostel. Her favorite place was a small one star hotel in Venice where they had to shut one of their friends in a cupboard so she could fix her 35 mm camera film in the dark.

She also thinks making it out to California was quite an adventure! Kate works up in Hollywood for a production company and also as a screentester. She loves being this close to an industry she wants to be a part of and every day she goes to work fills her with wonder.

Matt is from the East Coast and has seen many things from New York to Florida. He loves New York, it's probably his favorite City in the country. He also loves the time he spent with Kate scuba diving in Rocky Point, Mexico.
