To save the world's people population from believing they aren't whole, amazing human beings.
I'm wild and also really calm. I love to dance swing, blues, funk and general spazz-out dance as well as practicing yoga and meditation. On a summer Saturday morning I could get up early and watch the sun rise, set the mood with some sitting meditation and yoga, drink a smoothie, go on a bike trip to a farm and camp out in exchange for digging up potatoes, then listen to electronic music and dance in the evening. Or perhaps a ho down, or go climbing, or ...many things.
Every situation is workable, even if it is joyful or difficult. Whatever situation I'm in, if I look at what I really want out of that situation I can see where I am holding back and where I am pushing too much. Then maybe I can start to act according to who I am. I believe all people are capable of being fully themselves, or at least working on being themselves. I am absolutely a work in progress and it seems like most people are as well. I love to experiment in radical honesty with new people or old friends.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm often shy at first and I get put off by people who straight out ignore me or seem to be angry about something in my direction. However once I get comfortable with someone, I am very excitable and outgoing, even when it comes to "calm things" like meditation. I am almost always excited to meditate! let alone do other more stimulating activities like having a delicious dinner or going out to explore a city or dancing.
I have some experience staying on couches of friends of friends. I haven't gone through any websites before coming to couchsurfing here.
What is on my desk as I'm writing this is a book on Haiku, Glimpses of Shunyata by Chogyam Trungpa, The Ethical Slut, and an article on teaching yoga with adjustments.
That seems to be a slice of what my life is focused on right now. I do a lot of meditation and yoga (training to become a teacher). I love to try new activities like learning how to write Haiku properly. I'm also really interested in exploring interpersonal dynamics from simple perception of others and how they make us feel as well as more specific topics like polyamory, home-living dynamics and office-life interactions.
