I'm a 26 year old post-bac currently taking a sabbatical before going on to Graduate School. Grew up in the Mexico/US border and became fluent in both languages at a young age. Lived for a year in Germany before college and speak some German. I love to cook, movies, architecture, and music. I grew up with a strong cowboy influence as our family also raises cattle and has a ranch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before committing to a graduate program in a particular University, I would like to travel and visit as many places as possible. As a long-term student there is the need to stretch one's dollar as much as possible. In addition to this, couchsurfing is the best way to meet locals and truly get to know a place.

Teach, Learn, Share

Other than speaking Spanish and German (and love teaching it or having conversations with non-native speakers), I also love sharing about Mexican culture and folklore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help hosts practice Spanish and English. I can also talk about the Mexican folklore. I always carry little Mexican trinkets to share with people of other cultures and open the conversation about what is Mexico like beyond the beach resorts. Finally I can always help with questions spanning math, life sciences, and writing.
