ABOUT ME

My mom's a Filipino, while dad's a Pakistani. I'm not one to back out from an exciting and thrilling adventure, especially when it involves going places, meeting new people and trying out new things. I found this wanderlust only quite recently, and hope to be able to do justice to my longing of going around the country and the world at large.

I'm very outgoing, so it's very easy for me to get along with people with different personalities and various temperaments. I'm very talkative according to my friends and a really fun person to hang out with.

I want to go around the world and make new friends who can show me the beauty in the diversity of cultures. I want to make my life meaningful by collecting experiences shared with other people and in places that reveal God's bountiful magnificence.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Growing up I was exposed to American pop and Bollywood music. My taste in music is eclectic with favorites across genres, however majority of the songs in my Ipod are urban, dance and RnB. These days though, I'm just happy with Spotify and how it allows me to explore music from great talent around the globe.

Couple of series that I'm currently hooked on : Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Orange is the New Black, Penny Dreadful, House, Scandal, Suits, Sherlock, How To Get Away With Murder, Fresh Off the Boat, Sense8, Empire

As much as I appreciate mainstream movies, I love and support independent and foreign films. I love Asian horror movies and oh, did I mention, proud LGBT supporter here!

I am a sucker for the vampire chronicles by Anne Rice. Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia rocked my childhood! Love how totally dystopic the Hunger Games were. I appreciated my nephew's Percy Jackson series. Love how disturbing Miss Perergrine's Home for Peculiar Children is. Wish I could have done the thesis on cultural appropriation for Budgette Tan's Trese comics.
