About Me
Graduated from Architecture studies, but contemplating life and career options. Really feel the need to move out of metropolitan cities. Lived in a village close to Manali, India for two years. Figuring the rest out :)
I am easy going, and tidy ;)
Currently living and working in Fumba town, Nyamazi village, Zanzibar
*Please note before sending requests*
- I live in Fumba town, Nyamanzi (20km south of stone town), and work full time in an office close by.
- Although Fumba town is along the coast and we do enjoy an occasional swim, there are no beautiful sand beaches around. Its mostly coral rock.
- There are not many/ almost no tourists here in fumba town. Mostly people from different parts of the world living and working here.
- So honestly, there is not much to do in the day around here during the week. And unless you have rented a vehicle, buses to and out of this place are very time consuming. Cabs are always an (expensive) option.
As much as i love to host people, if you are in Zanzibar only for a short period, i personally would not suggest you to come this way, as theres not much to do here and you will have to spend time and money to travel from here to other parts of the island.
If you still feel comfortable visiting and staying with me, feel free to send a message :)
Also, always up for meeting over a chilled beer in stone town ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I don't have many references on couchsurfing, I have had many other instances where friends/friends of friends and even unknown people and families have willingly let me crash on their couch and fed me delicious homely meals.
Hosting people whenever I can is just a way of helping someone like me.
