My mission is to know as many places as I can while I'm in US. Well, my mission on Earth is to know as many places as I can around the world! =)

ABOUT ME

Came to US seeking for adventure. Every now and then I need to move, to travel, to see what's out there. I get tired of people and places pretty easily (which I shouldn't though...) so I try to move every time I can. I've lived in Canada for a little while before and my home country is Brasil, but I've been living in DC for over 4 years now and I love it.

PHILOSOPHY

Kind of lame but I have been taught to try (really hard sometimes) to always see the bright side of every situation.

I surf. Because I usually live with host families, I can't host anybody, but hey, if you're around, let me know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done it few times and I have never experienced anything weird or bad. It was always fun, with really nice and caring people!

Interests

Rock and roll. Music. Art. Interesting and different outdoors. Tattoos. Photography. I'm not very good in any of these things, but I really love it! (I actually wish I'd have any kind of "gift" like draw really well or play drums. But I just can't, so I just admire people who does that.)

Music, Movies, and Books

-I can't name all the bands I like, but my last concerts were Guns'n'Roses, (Black) Flag, and Dead Kennedys. So you have an idea.
(But I also enjoy blues, jazz and MPB - good brazilian music).
-I love all movies about mafia, drug dealers, crimes, serial killers... The Godfather, Scarface, Inglorious Bastards, Pulp Fiction, Hannibal...
-Neruda. Biographies. Poe. Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Clarice Lispector, Ariano Suassuna (brazilians)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my trips are amazing. There are places that I love more then others, but I think in every trip I felt like a child learning about a new subject. Every city, every person, every country I visit has made me feel like a child again. And that feeling it's just amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

-I like to discuss religion. I think nobody's right or wrong, but I like to see how people understand their existence.
-Brasil. I like to talk about my country and make some points clear. I really don't like how things and places are stereotyped.
-Portuguese! I was a teacher in Brasil, so I have some skills to teach and my specialty is my language!
-I can teach how to make brigadeiro.
-I like to share life stories.
