I consider myself a kindhearted individual who has always been intellectually curious and open minded. My mother is from Mexico and my dad is American so my older brothers and I grew up in a bilingual household that played music from different parts of the world and we were introduced to new cultures from a young age. My mother was also a flight attendant so I have had the blessing of travel from as far back as I can remember. I have studied and lived abroad in several different countries. In France when I was 16, in Brazil when I was 18, and in Argentina when I was 22, and was au pairing in Denmark when I was 24. All these years abroad have given me so much in terms of friendships, personal growth, and the languages I learned have opened so many doors.
These are the details of my life that have really shaped who I am today. I believe we all have so much to give to this world, there is nothing I value more than genuine connections.

Música, películas y libros

I’m all about the classics. The Beatles above all else, but I really do love to listen to all types of music. Bossa nova, classic rock, classical music, psychedelic rock, old music, and especially songs that are well written.

As for film, Cinema Paradiso has always been my number one. I really like the classic, old films that are timeless. I especially like foreign films, movies that are more about the atmosphere than crowded dialogues. It means a lot more when the words are there for a reason. I’m also fascinated with movies that are filmed all in one take, like Victoria and Russian Ark.

And lately I’ve been reading a lot of books on spirituality and well being. It has really opened my mind on how to be present and appreciate all that we have, there really is so much to be grateful for if you take the time to think about it.

I’ve always believed that we are so fortunate to all have different perspectives and ideas. It makes for a better environment, we can all learn so much from one another. Traveling and meeting new people is so near and dear to my heart, I just love genuine conversations. The feeling of home is with you no matter where you go.
