Overview
About Me
I have great difficulty giving a description about myself; mainly because I don't want to write something wrong, nor vanities nor exaggerated modesty. So I'm not going to write a novel here. What I could say for sure is that I'm a calm being with a creative side, curious and contemplative and with a passion for philosophy. I try to mean well for everyone. As for me thats's the main thing.
Don't expect me to be the most outgoing person. I love profound conversations and doing cultural stuff, though - like going to museums, to concerts or to the theatre. And I love hiking through the wilderness!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's much more interesting than staying in a hotel, isn't it? You'll learn more about the atmosphere and the culture of a city or a country ... I haven't done couchsurfing yet, but I'm looking forward to do it.
Interests
I'm interested in everything that enhances my knowledge about life and how our universe works ... I actually value knowledge for knowledge's sake which means that I am a rather theoretical person. In regards to this I like to see myself as a genuine humanist. Everything that provides me with insights into culture, society, the natural world, psychology, arts etc. draws my attention.

I'm very lucky with the german language, with great pleasure I'd help anyone who is interested in learning it. Aside from that I know much about music (practice, handcraft and theory) and I have a vast knowledge of history/culture.
I love learning languages, so please try to share some of your mother tongue with me. :)
