About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making my dreams my reality!

ABOUT ME

Free-spirit! I love life and all it's beauty and variety... I want to work in human rights and foreign policy to help promote human equality and contribute to the solutions rather than the problems, and to see as much of the world as possible. I currently work in the Jazz community of NOLA and live in the middle of the music! I have a great couch, you wouldn't believe my location...

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life by the golden rule and a few other maxims.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully giving and receiving great experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All wonderful! From hosting Tibi and showing him the real Nola, to being hosted by Latte the most wonderful dog, I'm still pretty new to this but absolutely loving it!!

Interests

Many and varied.. anything outdoors in scenic spots or nightlife in a big city, I love to dance! Just wandering and exploring new places and learning more about the world. At home, anything where my friends are, especially live music!

Music, Movies, and Books

Wayyy too many loves to list.. Music wise everything from hardcore punk to jazz..couple favs are Bad Religion, Otra, been listening to Gabriel Rios a lot lately and UNKLE. Jazz wise, Herlin Riley leading the pack of NOLA musicians.
I read a lot, though mostly textbooks these days. More nonfiction usually. My all-time favorite is A Wrinkle in Time..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't pick just one! Low tide in San Felipe, sun rising out of the Atlantic and setting into the Pacific, bright pink alpine-glow on Mt Hood, monkeys frolicking in Costa Rica, the Scottish highlands...the list keeps growing and I hope it never stops!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know there's lots I could put here, but I don't know what! Anything New Orleans related I suppose. I make really good stovetop pop corn!
