Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel Europe and meet other current and former Couchsurfers. I want to learn about other people's journeys and make them a part of my own.
ABOUT ME
I am the only child of a teacher and a civil engineer. I love coffee, swimming, and talking to other people about their life experiences. I'm a junior at Kalamazoo College in Michigan. I study biology and hope to become a Physician's Assistant. I am currently studying Cognitive Science in Budapest Hungary and I want to travel to as many European countries as possible before I return to the U.S in February 2014.
PHILOSOPHY
It is better to burn out, than to fade away.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My cooking abilities are limited but I have no problems buying food for my host and cleaning up after myself. I enjoy talking just as much as I enjoy listening so if you have a great story or two, do not hesitate to tell me!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Thus far I have only had one Couchsurfing experience. Although my companion and the host got off to a bad start, our host ended up being very hospitable and put us up for two nights instead of the one he had agreed on. We cooked dinner for him and in return he got us into one of the largest beer tents at Oktoberfest.
