ABOUT ME

I am Nolan. I love peace and love love. Arguments are a waste of time and energy, let's just have fun :). I love nature and animals. The warm beach of the tropics is my favorite. I love to travel and and see new places and experience different cultures. If I could learn every language I could. Next on the list are Portuguese, Italian, French, and German in that order. I love sports (Sf Giants, 49ers, International soccer, etc.).

PHILOSOPHY

I think living life is all about having fun. If your not having fun, then you are doing something wrong. Don't take things personally, little problems are so insignificant in the scheme of things. "Everything works out in the end, if it hasn't, it isn't the end." Step out of your comfort level and experience the unfamiliar. Making life long memories doesn't happen if you always say no.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly use CS to find and meet people in new areas, although I have used it to find places to stay, and eventually if I ever "settle", would love to host other travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couch surfing quit a bit when traveling through central america and Colombia. I used it to meet people along the way, and went to the Colombia CS reunion in Tolú which was a blast.

Interests

TRAVEL! Adventure, living life spontaneously, trying new things, getting out of my comfort level, watching animals, loving nature, watching/ playing sports, the beach, languages, contemplating deep questions and ideas, and HAVING FUN!!

- Supertroopers, The Big Lebowski, Kung Pao, The Men Who Stare at Goats, Hubble (IMAX), Planet Earth, Pulp Fiction, Cidade de Deus.
MUsic- Many different genres. Prefer reggae and chill music
- Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, John Mayer, John Butler Trio, Ozomatli, Sublime, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs.
Books- Informative, spiritual, anecdotal.
- Marching Powder, World Atlas, large coffee table picture books ( Space, Nature, World)
