ABOUT US:

We are a (soon to be) newlywed couple living in Whiterhorse, Yukon which is waaay up in the north of Canada.
We will definitely share a laugh or two, both of us like to be positive and silly. :) Of course we can also be very quiet, calm and we are always respectful.

Cynthia is a French immersion kindergarten teacher, and loves working with young, creative, spontaneous minds.

Nolio is an English teacher for immigrants who have moved to Canada and want to work on their language skills.

We love to learn about people from all over the world. Everyone has interesting opinions to share and each culture is beautiful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nolio has hosted many people in Yukon already and is very grateful for the people who hosted him in Europe.

Cynthia's first experience with Couchsurfing was on a road trip in California.

Interessen

Nolio: I play bass in a funk band and loves to see a whole crowd dancing their hearts out. Music is an incredible way to connect with people on a soul level.

I also love to learn about plants and find natural life to be really beautiful. And I think anything that humans do or make can be an art if you put time and care into what you are doing.

Cynthia: I loves all types of crafts and to make useful things with my own hands. I study dance and have participated in an improv group here in Whitehorse. It's kind of, freestyle, competitive theatre. It's really fun and challenging!

Cynthia likes heartfelt indie -style singer / songwriter tunes, Nolio loves high-energy music with good bass lines and beats.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Cynthia: I taught French in Indonesia, bungee-jumped in Thailand and have crossed Canada in my van. I also got lost countless times in other countries and learned the skill of asking for directions.

Nolio: I went paragliding once, which totally feels like flying. And I have played saxophone solos on a big stage, which feels like flying but in a different way.

Nolio likes to learn about wild, edible plants, and can also make music with almost anything.

Cynthia can teach you French, and anything to kids.
