ABOUT ME

I have been travelling during 8 years with my parents on a sailing boat, Then I kept travelling "bench surfing" on other boat, until I reach Greenland where I felt in love with the amazing landscape and peoples. After a MsC in Climatology in France, I went back to Greenland to collect more data for a PhD in Oceanography and Glaciology. I spent 15 months in a remote fjord on a sailing boat with two other crew to study the ocean and glacier, even during the winter. I am now providing support to research team to collect their data from a sailing boat and; organise tours to dicover the Inuit culture and amazing glaciated (and green) landscape of Greenland.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to find ingenious solution to common problems. Be a "Do it Yourself" whenever possible. Learn from other. Share with them... Benefit from experience. Have a minimal impact on the environment. Act accordingly to my convictions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started the CS on Dordogne, France, where I discovered this by an other friend. I loved the idea. I used the CS when travelling in Venezuela and enjoyed even more the sharing experience which come with the CS ! Not yet settle I haven't been able yet to host any CS, but it is going to come.

兴趣

Everything close to the nature, mainly outdoor activities (Sailing, Mountaineering, Hiking, Travelling...) but also the Sciences (Climatology, Oceanography, Physics...), and of course sharing experience of any kind.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A sunset over the canopy on the top of the french Guyana wild forest... A 24/7 sun above the horizon, during the summer in the polar region, witch spread the shade of every Iceberg all over the place... A group of dolphin swimming at one feet of your hand... A Humpback whale looking at your boat as a friend... Stepping on the sea after the sea as turned into ice.
