HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i welcome new CS members and get involved in CS volunteer groups. one of my favourite things to do is bring people together so everywhere i go i try and organize events or help others organize them to keep intercultural exchanges abundantly flowing...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

it started out as one amazing experience and has blossomed into a thrilling phenomenon. the people i have surfed with and hosted have all been fantastic each in his or her own way and well now... i'm addicted to meeting fellow couchsurfers! i suppose one of the few addictions actually good to have... ;)

Intereses

photography, cooking, walking/hiking, climbing, yoga, reading, spending time with family and friends and i recently started djembe lessons!!

i love to cook and for me a good meal is best enjoyed when shared with others along with some good wine!

before teaching i was in marketing and communications. i don't miss my corporate life but certainly there's much i can share. especially if you find yourself dreaming of cutting the corporate umbilical cord but not going through with it. it can be incredibly difficult... but definitely POSSIBLE!!

overall... i've learned that your goal shouldn't be to check off as many countries or cities off your list as quickly as possible, rather you should endeavour to cherish the memorable experiences you've had, the genuine people you've met and the lasting friendships you've made along the way, and add them to your list... continually!
