关于我

Hello there...

I left university after my bachelor’s because I needed a change. The routine was getting old, so now I’m on the road, travelling indefinitely- trekking through mountains (because they won’t climb themselves:), hitchhiking, and volunteering when I can. I’m all about quiet places, real conversations, and days where my only plan is to have no plan. Mountains are where I feel most at home, but if a beach or random city happens to pop up, I’m not complaining. Still figuring things out, meeting new people, and embracing whatever comes my way. If I get lost, well, that’s just part of the adventure... and probably where the fun really starts!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As they say in Into the Wild, “Happiness is only real when shared.” I travel solo, but some stories-like ending up at a stranger’s wedding or learning to milk a goat by accident-are just better with someone to laugh along.

Sure, a free place to stay helps, especially when my wallet is mostly full of hope and old receipts, but what really brings me here are the people. Locals with secret spots, fellow wanderers with wild tales, and kind souls who don’t mind bad jokes and questionable coffee.

And I’m not just here to be hosted. I’d love to host too when I can. If you don’t mind floor space, experimental cooking, and the occasional existential chat, my door’s open. Let’s share a roof, a laugh, and maybe a badly brewed cup of tea. After all, “Home is wherever your backpack takes a break.”

音乐、电影和书籍

Music - To be honest, my favorite songs change every month or two. I listen to almost every music genre depending on the mood and the difficulty of the hike which I am on :)

Movies - Travel related movies like- Into the wild, Secret life of Walter Mitty, Tracks, The Darjeeling limited, 127 hours and many more.
Apart from that, I appreciate movies from the Historic genre specifically based on WW2.
or any movie with a good imdb rating.

Books - 'Sapiens' by Yuval Noah Harrari.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I’ve hitchhiked over 5000 km across India, solo. Trucks, motorbikes, cars… whatever stopped. Sometimes in the dead of night, sometimes under the blazing sun. I’ve shared meals with truckers, heard life stories on dusty highways, and even taken the wheel once or twice (don’t tell my mom).

I did my first-ever camping in the Thar Desert with a stranger I met a day before. Responsible? Probably not. Memorable? Absolutely. Later, after few weeks, I found myself camping solo in the no man’s land of the Rann of Kutch near the India–Pakistan border, just me, my tent, enough silence to make even my thoughts echo and the absurdity of it all.

I’ve wandered solo across the country - through Varanasi’s ghats, Kerala’s beaches, Arunachal’s hills, and Rajasthan’s deserts-mostly with a backpack, a half-baked plan, and the sincere hope that Google Maps knew what it was doing.

I’ve done Himalayan treks like Hampta Pass and Kuari Pass completely solo, no guide, no porter-just me, huffing and puffing at 14,000 feet, wondering why I packed so many instant noodles. I camped at Devprayag where the Ganga is born, hiked Chokramudi Peak in Kerala with someone I met five minutes earlier, and even pitched a tent on Varkala’s cliffside beach-because why not?

There have been moments of fear, confusion, cold noodles, deep connection, and intense freedom. Some things I did probably required courage. Others-pure stupidity. But I never did them to prove anything. I’m not special. I just believe that life’s better when we choose the uncertain path, meet new people, and maybe get a little lost.

And honestly, the most amazing thing we’re all doing? Just living. Trying to be kind. Finding small pockets of joy. Because in the end, that’s the real adventure.

教,学,和分享

I can teach you how to hitchhike without looking too desperate, how to pack everything in one small backpack (and still forget something important), and how to cook Maggi in 27 different ways -badly.

I want to learn anything and everything - how to cook your favourite dish, say weird phrases in your language, or a weird dance move. If you’ve got a story, I’ve got ears (and snacks).

Let’s share travel stories, life tips, local food, or just sit and laugh about how none of us really know what we’re doing - and that’s okay.

I bring stories, lots of them. From hitchhiking with truck drivers who treated me like family, to accidentally camping in places I maybe shouldn’t have (hello, no man’s land!), I’ve got enough tales to turn a dinner into a documentary.

I can also offer good company, questionable cooking (I try), and solid help around the house. Whether it’s doing dishes, running errands, or watching your cat while you’re out-it’s all part of the couchsurfing spirit.

Oh, and if you ever want to learn how not to pitch a tent, I’m basically a walking masterclass. Crooked angles, missing pegs -I’ve made all the mistakes, so you don’t have to.

If you're into music, I can pretend I play guitar. If you're into travel, I’ve probably been lost somewhere you haven’t. And if you're into just chilling and talking about life, I’m always up for that too.

Basically, I’m not just looking for a free place to crash—I’m looking to connect. And if I can leave your home with a smile on your face (and not a broken lamp), I’ll call it a win.
