HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am settled into a new home! Finally!! I am putting my adventure status in the suitcase for now. I moved away from San Diego in October of 09 and have been roaming since. The West Coast has been conquered by my grandmother, my mom, and yours truly. 3 generations, 3 states, 2 weeks in a VW bus...scouts honor. Next there was Arizona, Vegas, and a small settling in TN until the flood kicked me out. Anyways, now that is done and I have found myself in Everett, WA. I have been living here since June 2010 with my fiance Marcus who is a CS'er as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I became a member I've traveled to Dublin,London, and through quite a bit of the states in a 72' VW Bus. My experiences with both hosting and surfing have been fantastic! It has been really amazing to connect with people whose desires for traveling mirror my own.

I only have good things to say about Couch Surfing! It's genius!

Música, películas y libros

I love all music mostly...as long as you lay it on thick and I can close my eyes and feel it.

I love to read so I will be engulfed in one book or another at all times. I am a big fan of classic literature and books of controversy. It is my mission in life to read more and a goal of mine is sit under the oldest tree and read the oldest novel...

I am not big on watching tv. I do enjoy relaxing in front of the tube on occasion but you will actually be surprised when you hear the names of movies I haven't seen...ie Godfather, Scarface, Friday the 13th...etc...the list goes on and it will amaze you.

I have been lucky and fortunate enough to:

*ride elephants in Thailand
*mingle with Shao-lin Monks in Australia
*go cliff diving in Hawaii
*tour London on the back of a motorcycle
*have discovered a private beach in Japan that I wish were mine.....
*have stood on the Cliffs of Moher and calmed the urge to base jump : )
*navigate the west coast of America in a 72' VW Bus with my mother and grandmother. All of us are 20 years apart in age and at the time, we were 24, 44, and 64.

Mmmm...I'm from Tennessee originally so if you want to learn how to cook some good ol' southern food...I'm the girl to teach ya! I LOVE to cook!!
