CURRENT MISSION

My mission in life is to make enough money at my career to pursue my two loves: Photography and travel. Those two things are the only essentials in my life right now.

ABOUT ME

I recently made the leap into full-time photography. (www.blackfoxphoto.com) I love traveling all parts of the world, though I've only been to a handful of countries. The rest are on my list. I have made many friends on Couchsurfing, not just by visiting their homes... Couchsurfers are my people!

I currently live with my girlfriend, Sarah, in Kansas City. We love going to museums, art shows, etc. I enjoy playing all sorts of sports, particularly volleyball. I tour Kansas City very frequently for photo opportunities, so I would make a fantastic guide for those visiting.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Most of what I do on Couchsurfing is simply hang out with other Couchsurfers. I am still working to convince my girlfriend to Couchsurf with me, so I haven't done it in a while, but I'm looking to stay with some of you in the near future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed at a handful of places over the years and have nothing but positive experiences. I like that it pulls me ever so slightly out of my comfort zone. I've toured cities with Couchsurfers, done some photography, had coffee, etc. I like to see the non-touristy things in the places I visit.

I cannot overstate my love for photography. When I travel, I only take one bag which contains all of my camera equipment and a few clothes. If you are into photography at all, hit me up. If you are a writer or a blogger, let me know, too... I'm currently a beginner blogger.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'll never forget the moment when I stepped off the plane in England in 2009. It was my first time out of the United States (besides cruises). There was a sense of becoming a real world traveler and I just kind of basked in it. I took comfort in the fact that home was very far away and not easily accessible. I'm constantly thinking about this feeling and looking forward to experiencing it again. (I dream about England regularly.)
