Overview
About Me
I like sugar, and cheese, and cakes. Did I mention sugar?
Where to begin with, I studied Materials and Chemical Engineering in Germany, and moved to Zürich in 2015. I am doing PhD in Nanotechnology here and enjoying my life in this beautiful city. I am very open minded, easy and outgoing person, other than my office I can be found somewhere around the lake, old town of the city or in some old coffee shops in the town of Zürich :)
Another interesting or weird thing about me could be that I am very inclined towards literature and my own book is in the pipeline at the moment (sounds quite weird for a scientist to be an author of a non-scientific work, right? 😀).
There are many other things which I can put in this section but I will leave it to the couchsurfers who will meet me around the globe as host/guest and get to know me more ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to couchsurfing. Would definitely like to get more involved, especially with surfing part. I think its a great way to travel and meet local people/discover culture at the same time and learn something about us (the humans).

Music, Movies, and Books
Im not really a music person but I enjoy all kinds of music - not all the time though :D Umm I really like rock music, but most of my fav artists are dead now :( Freddie Mercury w000000ttt!!!
Movies: I love to watch adventure, western, drama, action and comedy movies. Horror movies are not my cup of tea I guess. I stopped watching horror movies after one incident with a train (I can tell you the story if I host you or when I am your guest)..
I have read Ernst Hemingway, Kafka, Paulo Coelho, Khaled Hosseini. Hemingway is my favorite. I love the way he used to describe the scenes and explain you every detail of a character.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done trekking on glaciers in Himalaya and it was an amazing experience of my life. The white moon light on the snow had a magical influence on me.
I have plans to do something similar now if I get some time off my PhD :)
Teach, Learn, Share
"Welcome to my house, enter freely, go safely, and leave something of the happiness you bring in."
[Bram Stoker - Dracula]
I can teach you something about life, how to be positive despite of failures, the science, how to cook, sing and a lot more.
I would like to learn about different cultures, languages, food and the people coming from a wide range of backgrounds.
I can share with you the good vibes, happiness, positivity and of course the food :)

My delicious food as I am good cook (not bragging)
