Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up with italian horror-b-movies, then i discovered asian cinema (chinese, korean and japanese) and i decided to become a filmmaker.. i love weird movies :). Some directors that have left a mark on me are Bergman, Tarkovsky, Lynch, Jodorovsky, Nolan, Aronofsky, Refn, Pasolini, Fulci, Germi, Tsukamoto, Miike, Araki.. Gian Maria Volontè is the best actor ever..
I listen several kind of music, from tekno to jpop, harsh noise/power electronic, psychedelic rock, rap, black metal, italian music, electro, ethnic, experimental and more more more..depends on the moment, everything except reggae! a constant band are Dead Can Dance. btw i have a really crazy taste.
Most of my library is made up photographic book or essays, indian or chinese philosophy/religion, traveller writers (Alexandra David-Neel!!) and random novels.
Some of my favorite photographers in random order: Luighi Ghirri (of course!), Michael Wolf, Sally Mann, Jock Sturges, Martin Parr, Nobuyoshi Araki, Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Alec Soth, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Vittore Fossati, Mario Giacomelli, Jacob Aue Sobol, Antoine D'Agata . . . i could write forever
